Exciting Week

First of all...HAPPY BIRTHDAY WILL!!!!! Will had one of his most miserable days on record today as he woke up way too early! I guess he was ready to party. We went to story time which he enjoyed but then he moaned the rest of the morning until it was naptime. He woke up in a much better mood and had a great time playing with his Big Sis this evening. The night concluded with a Bro/Sis bath which was a big hit! The party to celebrate the Big 1 is on Saturday...Will is so excited that he can barely contain himself!

Besides a birthdy to celebrate this week the other big event was our trip on a city bus. Grace has been very interested in the bus for a while so together we attempted to figure out the system. On our first attempt, the bus driver drove right by the three of us while we were standing below the bus stop sign. I called the bus number and the lady told me they are "unaccustomed" to bus riders from our specific neighborhood so they don't watch the stops real closely. They said we should call next time we want to take the bus...OK...isn't that the whole point of a bus stop??? So, we tried again Tuesday and the field trip was a huge success. A bonus of the trip was that we got to see the LifeFlight helicopter land while we were at a stop picking up students. Grace has asked every day when we will be taking our next bus trip....I have a feeling it will be very soon. Hard to see the pictures of the bus but if you have seen Napolean Dynamite....that is the exact bus we rode on (the side even said "Napolean Dynamite's bus")
