Pathetic

I'm not a huge fan of snow and cold weather, but seriously, I got new downhill and cross country ski's this year. And I EXPECT snow because I live in the mountains. And honestly, I do even LIKE a little bit of snow during a few, select months of the year so we can enjoy skiing, sledding, and fun times in the yard to break up the long winter days.  And this is the amount of snow we have at the end of January.  I made Olivia stand by the drift of snow in the yard so you could get a little perspective.  If you look closely, my snow hungry middle child rode his bike through the pile because he wanted to play in the snow.

Weekend Trip

Last summer the kids and I took a day trip to the Children's Museum where I bought a 6 month membership thinking we would FOR SURE be back in town to use it.  Well, here it was about to expire and we had not yet been back.  So, we planned a quick weekend trip so we could have another fun filled day at the Children's museum.  This is the only picture I have from the entire weekend.  Bad Mom, I know.  But the only kiddo I can even get to look at the camera is G1 and although I think she is beautiful and like taking her picture....well, sometimes it is just not worth the fight to even try.

We went back to our favorite hotel that has a little water park inside and swam. the night away.  Then it was movies, popcorn, and take out in our hotel suite. We woke up the next day and swam again in the morning and then headed off for a tiny bit of shopping before hitting the slopes for a bit.  I hadn't gotten to ski with G1 much at all last year so we had a great time together while the boys stayed down on the bunny hill getting acquainted with their ski's.
