This morning was Grace's first soccer game. At the practice earlier in the week, Grace was really into kicking the ball and playing soccer. Today she was more into socializing. She ran around the field giggling and hold hands with her girl friends. Overall, watching three year olds play soccer is pretty hilarious. At the end of the game, the two teams lined up for the traditional "good game" hand slapping. This turned into 20 three year olds hugging each other all the way down the line. They all seemed to have a great time. Special note for my brother--although no one was out in the middle of the field doing impersonations of the karate kid during the game, the little boy wearing the orange cone on his head and running around doing his own thing was pretty funny!

This afternoon we went to the park. Will took his first ride in the swing. Mr. Mellow just sat there and took in all the action. Most of the action was from his sister yelling she was scared of the baby swing and freaking out. She thought her brother was incredibly brave for swinging so high! This excessive fear may be from her mom always telling her to be careful and watch out!!!!
Next we headed to the "teddy bear clinic" at the hospital. Grace had a fun time taking her two dolls for complete check-ups which included shots, casts, surgery, and getting weighed. For those of you who know Tiger baby...she weighs 2 1/2 lbs!!!! That's a lot of weight to carry around when you're playing! A big highlight of the event was the chance to sit in the LifeFlight helicopter!
