It's been a long time (again).....

So, I've gotten a few comments about how I have not been posting much lately...I have several excuses: 1) We got a new memory card in our camera and I haven't downloaded pictures in almost a month....it's huge and even with all my picture taking it take a long time to fill up. I use the no new pictures excuse for not logging in to post 2) The kids are so cute that I cannot keep track of all their cute events....so I just record none of them (that is really bad logic). 3) I've been so busy with work, which is a super awesome thing. The highlight---I have had 4 of my families get 5 new kiddos (one family was SURPRISED with twins!)
None of these are great excuses but all together they seem to have made me a slacker blogger. As a family, we are doing so well though. Grace is super busy with dance, soccer, playdates, and school. Will is very happy to be back outside. Weather permitting, he is outside by 7:15 am. He pretty much stays there until he gets hungry or we have to go somewhere. With the help of modern medicine, the boy has put on a little weight too. He is officially up to almost 25 lbs. Downside of this is that he still LOVES to be held...I'm not sure if this is really a downside because I like to hold him too....but you'd think the boy could walk from point A to point B once in a while. His request of "up" means I pretty much have Will on one hip and the baby carrier in the other arm at all times. Grant is growing and changing so much too. The boy LOVES his feet. Even though the picture is over a month old, it is a pretty good reflection of one of his favorite things to do...suck on his toes. And look at his cute little chubby self. He had his 6 month check up and he weighed in at 17 lbs 13 ounces (50%) and 27" (75%). He continues to be a happy baby but has decided he likes to hang out with Mom in the night again. I'm a bit more tired again but I do love having him snuggle up in my arms for a bit in the night. He is just growing up way too fast and so I really cherish our middle of the night quiet times together (just don't tell him this!)
