All Boy, Oh Boy!!!

So, Will has another new "trick" although putting it that way seems to make it seem cute or valuable....but it is neither. Will has decided he likes to spit. He has in the past occasionally done some excessive raspberrying but now he has crossed the line into full fledged spitting. He does it enough to make a little puddle and then he likes to smear it around. If the new trick were tooting or burping excessively, I might point a finger and ask the older household member in question to please refrain, but spitting...no one in this house walks around spitting!

Happy Birthday Maisy!

We've had a lot going on here so I will have to do a marathon post later, but I wanted to make sure we said HAPPY BIRTHDAY MAISY!!!! We adopted Maisy from the humane society 8 years ago today....they told us she was around one year old so we are celebrating her as a 9 year old this year. She's such a good, calm dog who we ofcourse think is beautiful!!! Happy Birthday!!!

He's back...again

Brad returned from Argentina after 10 days on Saturday...after pretending that I hadn't missed him to make the time pass a bit more easily, I was so excited to see him stepping off the plane! Grace was very excited and Will took a long look at him and then reached out his arms to give his Daddy a big hug! Brad had a great time and the pictures are beautiful....he wasn't quite sure what to expect in Argentina but I think he was definetly impressed by the scenery.

In Like a Lion

Yesterday at our ski lessons, March definitely came in like a lion...whiteout on the mountain and such heavy fog that you could barely see your hand in front of your face. And the wind was so strong it would almost stop you from going downhill...but after things cleared up, the fresh snow was really fun to ski in. Grace and I both had our final lessons of the season and she competed in the "cookie" race which meant she skied down a little slalom course and then received a cookie for her efforts. She also got a medal which she proudly wore to church this morning. Grace did great overall and has come so, so far in her skiing abilities. Brad was amazed last week when he went to watch her...she is so fast and can turn so well and seems to have no fear. I have a feeling she will soon be out skiing me!

Will spent the day with our friends while Grace and I skied. He had a total blast and loved all the attention he got from having four older kids around. They have three boys and he spent the day playing with hotwheels and hanging out with the big kids. They also took him to see their horses which he enjoyed. But the little prince missed the girly play themes of his sister...when he got back in the car after he saw Grace's purple sparkly hat, pointed at it, and then squealed in delight when he put it on his head!
