Thanksgiving weekend

We had a fantastic Thanksgiving weekend with family from Nebraska and Utah! Our Thanksgiving dinner, a cooking effort between Brad, Sue (my mother in law) and myself went so smoothly that I kept thinking we had forgotten to do something....we spent the rest of the day grumbling about having eaten too much and than still having pie and various desserts. It was so nice to be surrounded by family for the holidays...

Friday we watched Nebraska get beaten by Colorado. We were not too suprised but it is always disappointing. I must say though that we were the most festive looking Nebraska folks all sporting Husker gear! Then off to the Christmas Light Parade to start off the holiday season! Having Henry yelling "I LOVE CANDY" was certainly part of our candy acquistion success!!!

Next we headed down to SLC to attend our nephew Nathan's baptism. We were so glad we could attend this blessed event for the little guy.

Today we are recovering and getting ready to start planning Princess Grace's birthday party!

We've Returned!

After a wonderful trip to Nebraska filled with visits to many family and friends homes, we have returned home. The kids did so well on the plane both ways....better than I could have ever imagined! And the getting in and out of the airport with all our luggage went smoothly. I only encountered one little trip up when I returned into SLC and realized I had to get two kids, two carseats, two large pieces of luggage, and a diaper bag outside to where my sister in law was waiting to pick us up. Needless to say, I think I looked perplexed enough that two people came to my rescue and helped me out to the curb.

We have begun to get settled back into a routine of some sort and are looking forward to the holidays that start up here so quickly! Thanks to everyone in Nebraska for a wonderful time and a special thanks to the SLC Kosmicki's for the help to and from the airport!
