Grace officially turned 4 today and she did so in style! We started off the day with presents as Brad was home for the day so we plunged right into the fun stuff. Grace received a Princess book that she has REALLY been wanting from her brother and she just kept saying how wonderful he was for getting it for her. Will was busy playing with the tissue paper and boxes so he thought presents were really fun too! Next we headed off to lunch at a "restaurant." Grace thinks going to eat out is pretty cool. She even got a special birthday milkshake from the waitress...yummy!!!
Next we headed off to rent a movie for her to watch while Will was napping. She selected "Cinderella: A Twist in Time" which was surprising quite good. She watched most of the movie sitting on my lap. That was a special treat for me! Next we headed off to dress rehearsal for her dance recital. We ate a quick dinner and then were back at the auditorium for the big event. Grace did an excellent job on her tap dance and then she and I stayed the remaining of the show so she could watch the big girls dance. They are quite good and they really kept her attention. Grace keeps promising me that 4 year olds do a lot of stuff like clean up their rooms. Hmmmm, I'll keep you posted!
